I'm not sure what purpose this has, probably no purpose at all, but I still wrote it for some reason.
I can't do much, but I sit and ponder
over what the news channels continue
to broadcast worldwide
I'm sure you know, it's your story
Who knew, you had to take a few bullets
and leave the world to gain the fame
Your blood had to stain to gain your name
With all due respect, I pray they maintain
your farewell as you deserve as martyrs of the youth
We salute you as you're carried down the lane,
to return to your home, with the dust calling your name
They invite us to hear the sound of your death
we knew with each sound meant another ground was fed
My mind makes the effort to imagine your state
When you knew life was no longer part of your fate
You heard once before, that you'll breathe every last breath
As is your destiny, but never did it occur that it may be today
That you breathe your last and let your soul fly away and your body turn to clay
I close my eyes to attain a peace of mind, but can't help but hear
The heartbeat of every last person, every last body,
every last breath with dreaded fear
I begin to imagine the racing of your heart and the
insanity in your mind, draining you out even before the bullet grind
My palms sweat up and I go back to think,
were you ready to face your eternal destiny
Or was the floor flooded with streams of sweat,
fearing your fate and your every moment
Of life that passed before you at the speed of light,
You couldn't decide to give up or put up a fight
By then you knew, it was too late, you lay on the ground,
Begging the Lord to take you back in time
To try to escape the ugly presence of death,
but I can assure you because I'm sure you know
You can run, but you can't hide, It'll find you
to take you home, deep down and low
I can't vouch for the life you lived, but turn around and see
the world standing by your side
Not much we can do, but hope and pray that one day
we'll see you up above in Heaven, the fruits of every mother that cried
The world's full of remorse and your innocence is apparent,
but I must say I needed this day
I needed a glimpse of what my end could be,
Some sick bastard trying to play God
Slaying lives one at a time and only to then end
his own life and face the torment and Wrath of the One he denied
I'm telling you the truth, to those who still live and breathe, Hold fast to the truth
Gain a sense of guidance and beg for the truth,
serenity will overcome as a fast approaching tide
At this very moment I sit and search through the pages
of my source of guidance, my light in darkness
"Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after
You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower." [ 3:8 ]
The holy Qur'an as I ask my Lord to cause me to befriend
the presence of death and the right way of life to reach success
Though the harsh truth I must say, people claim you were
the upcoming professionals of tomorow, but I must disagree
You had no tomorrow to grasp that dream as you may have
seen in your mind for years 'til now, for the truth do forgive me
I hope to see you raised with the green birds of heaven,
high and above rising to fly as a dove
from the depths of your home, deep beneath the ground,
justice will be granted and debts will be paid
Time is a great healer as is trust in God, so continue
your journey without any worries and pain
The stains remain of every blood drop, unlocking the
gates of this new realm where your soul shall dwell
We ask of you to wipe those tears and let go of the string to which you cling
We're here to wipe the tears of those who suffer from the sting,
those who face a great loss, but I'm sure you know
History repeats itself everyday, death is our friend who never goes away
Across the world or across the street, massacred in groups,
lives and emotions destroyed within a drum beat

OMG. That was awesome! That was really deep, and I loved it. I could really tell that you poured your heart and soul into it. Loved it.
