Passing Thoughts

I know I just posted 3 hours ago, but I need to write this.

I'm sitting here next to my window at 3:21 am listening to Qur'an... and another soothing sound, the chirping of the birds. It's rare that I hear the birds this early in the morning. I have chills running through me, I truly wish this feeling would stay with me forever. I want to get up and pray Tahajjud since I'm up, but if my mom wakes up when I go to do Wudhu I'm pretty much dead. Wallahi, this reminds me of Tahajjud time in Madinah. This truly is from the Mercy of Allah (swt). This sound, the chirping of the birds gives me hope. It's reminding me to wake up in more than one way. It's reminding me of the Glad tidings of Jannah. It's reminding me of a million other things about which I could continue to go on about. It's like the birds are calling the believers to wake up and engage in rememberance of Allah (swt) whislt the world sleeps.

I was sitting in bed thinking about some past occurences as well as occurences so far this year. I believe this year will be a re-run of 2004, if so... may Allah (swt) help us all and grant us strength grant us the desire to defeat our nafs... Ameen.

Lailaha illa Ant subhanaka inni kuntu min adhawlimeen

May Allah (swt) forgive us all and humble us... Allahumma Ameen

- Awaiting the moment -

As-Salaamu 'Alaykum
