In a Trance
An empty glass I see
tumbling on the floor
with shattered glass
Floating with no
strings attached
floating with no
weight nor mass
Taking a right turn
seems to take me to
some unknown land
Taking a left turn
leading me to all
which is familiar
from the ocean's water
to the sand
In this trance
the flame grew,
the heat never weakened
The ocean, the sand...
A mere illusion?
Falling to the floor
All power weakened
The mere sensation
of the breeze
eyes can no longer
remain open
with time all shall seize
That moment of mere Sakinah
a mere moment of tranquility
No right, No left
Not a care, feeling the insanity
Letting loose of the rope
untangling the knots with
a rush of wind
to the ground, I dropped
Is it a smile?
Is it a frown?
None can tell
Alas, the ocean reappears
the silky sand blowing in the wind
may never again disappear
The end as a beginning
the beginning as a visit
Reality as a journey
With these thoughts
this realm's raining
In number, once lessened
in power, never weakened

Red; That's all I see
Red- that's all I see
Closing my eyes
Bloody red is what my memory
remains to be
The cuts; the bruises
I really don't care
Stranger in the world
These injuries are all alien to
the thoughts my mind posesses
The tingling feeling
running down my back
The blood washed away
making room for a mesmerizing attack
Trying to find my way through this path
See the blood running down
Every vision of dismay and betray
The only way out - no escape
Life as it never was, not ready to pay
The day he stood on top of the cave
Death may not be the answer, but we
stand to Pray
In reality this fight was a must
Forever, In God I trust
